Gardener 10th by Michael Lau

Over the week, Gardener Tenth by Michael Lau presented his first ever
exhibition in the USA at De La Barracuda. Without question, the show validated Michael’s importance in the vinyl toy movement.

The exhibition showcased all 109 Gardener figures (with a value of over USD one million dollars) for the collection and featured the newest Gardeners Sandy + George, Zex and Hope. Now that’s quite a toy collection! Plus, a rare collection of drawings and paintings were on exhibition that displayed another side of the artist seldom seen by collectors.

Even Nike president and CEO, Mark Parker (a huge collector) made time for a private showing of Gardener Tenth to meet with Michael and shown here with MD of MINDstyle.

Talk about creative minds, Gary Baseman, Linkin Park’s Mr. Joe Hahn, Michael along with PJ and some of the creative team from Disney Consumer Products. Followed by multi-platinum recording artist, Lupe Fiasco…

Yet through it all — the fans and collectors helped to make Gardener Tenth a huge success! Here’s to another 10 years…
